Summary of Civilization:

The Moche lived on the north coast of Peru in South America between about AD 100 and 800,produced some of the finest portraits ceramic ever made in the world. Most of what we know about the mochicansis from the wealth of there potery.

Geography:
They lived in river valleys threw the mountains of Peru.

Climate:
The combination of tropical latitude, various mountain ranges, topography variations and two ocean currents gives Peru a large diversity of climates.

Art and Architecture:
They left behind ceramic vessels, woven textiles, murals, and amazing objects of culture.The walls of the mochican temple are covered with horrific fantasy creatures that could only come from the dark side of the artistic imagination. It appears human sacrifice and dismemberment were the real-life models for Moche art.

Culture (Religion, Customs, Food, ect.):

There culture was very extreme and they sacraficed humans.
They were warriors with a highly developed social and political organization. They made a lot of there art reflicting on there culture. The Moche culture has left some impressive sites and some really cool potery to be seen in some of peru's museums. The most important people, especially the priests and warriors, were members of the urban classes and lived closest to the large ceremonial pyramids and other temples.
Technology (Farming, hunthing
The Mochicas were skilled farmers and builders and they were fisherman.The Moche were also excellent potters and goldsmiths. They had some of the most varied pottery in the world. Mochican people did a lot of different arts and pottery. The mochicans also used weapons like the ones below.
